Entry requirements

All candidates should have: 

• An honours degree (minimum 2.2) from a university in Great Britain or overseas, or a qualification recognized as equivalent to a degree.

• GCSEs at level C (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Science and English.

• The skills to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.

• Spent a minimum of two weeks in a primary school to familiarize themselves with the demands of a career in the classroom.

• Candidates for the salaried route via School Direct must have a minimum of three years’ work experience.
