Actually it’s not ‘Royal’ yet, but hopefully it will be soon. The College is making great progress and has just appointed an ‘eye-wateringly’ brilliant line up for its founding Trustees. Really importantly, the majority of them are teachers doing the job now. Follow this link to see who they are: College of Teachers. It really does look like The College is heading in the right direction. A united body which asserts our collective professional autonomy and strives to keep politics out of education has to be a good thing!
